SciFi and Fantasy Art Telescope by Annika Secker

This is my brother Fabian, or rather his alter-ego: Catwizard Farsian Flayd. We had been trying to get his costume together and this is what it is supposed to look like... sort of. The picture was made by colouring over the printed out, somewhat altered scan of a photograph (it is not really as complicated as it sounds). The origional photograph was taken by my father and I have both his and Fabian's permission to publish it.

2 May 2006	Barbara J. Wickham	Loading... This is my favorite of the Fabian pics. It has nice delineation of the colors giving it a solid impressionistic look. Also, the way you cropped the pic and the way the clouds and landscape converge towards the wizard gives this a very strong compositional impact. Very nice indeed!
1 Dec 2008	Lindsey M Butler	Loading... Oh dear, I am not in any way qualified to give an opinion of art, but I really like this. It has an almost storybook quality to it... almost nostalgic somehow... I didn’t understand how it was done, but I think it turned out lovely.

20 Jul 2009	Ben Noddeland	Loading... Could I also add that it has a very soothing effect to the limit of actually being somewhat melancholic? Maybe it’s just me. :-P This reminds me alot of a character from a story I’ve been in the concept stage of, his name is "Skywards Jack" and is supposed to be somewhat of a folklore character who one day just began running in the air and left the world behind to forever wander the skies and people’s dreams. Ah, but I digress.
